“Recovery calls us to continually work to be more rigorously honest. Rigorous honesty means confronting my shadow and giving up the defensive delusions that guard my wound. ” —John Bradshaw
Recovery from addiction is hard. There is a physical, mental, and emotional aspect to addiction that is, at times, overwhelming. The task is to create a new life, and this recovery begins by identifying patterns, stopping certain behaviors and making changes that will assist you in your goal of sobriety.
I can provide you with the support as you navigate this life change. Together, we will identify the triggers of your addiction, process present and past situations that can hinder your progress, and develop healthy alternative coping skills so that you can sustain your progress.
I offer evaluations, individual therapy and group therapy for women in recovery.
